Series $50 note


The number "50" appears on the optical device in the top left corner. The 1988 $50 bill is red in colour with pastel colours in a rainbow pattern. It displays William Lyon Mackenzie King and the Parliament Buildings flying the old Red Ensign flag on the face. A Snowy Owl is on the back.
