Hi, new to the Forum and know absolutely nothing about paper currency aside from what I've read online recently. I'm hoping for some help valuing 2 $100 bills. I've included pics.
1. 1954 $100 bill - Beattie/Coyne serial AJ2284122. Condition if I had to guess would be VF or F. Is this a true devils face or modified portrait and how much is it worth?
2. 1937 $100 bill - Coyne/Towers serial BJ4767720. Condition if I had to guess would be FR or PR. How much is it worth?

I am looking to sell these so when I say worth, the book value and what i can realistically sell for?
Thanks.

Without the pic, its hard to put a true value on...but..

$100 1954...devils face in F is $150, in VF $200
Modified portrait will be anywhere from $100-$125
$100 1937...if it is a VF or F aswell...then a $175

The hundreds are not as valuable in terms of how many times over face, as the lower denominations...

i.e a devils face $1 in VF-EF can bring $20, while the hundred is barely over face value...

But pictures would help to put a true value.

If you were to sell, i would say $275 is reasonable.

The 1954 Devil Face note is worth about $150, though the edge nicks are going to make it less desirable.
The 1937 note is too damaged to be worth more than face.  It should be taken to the bank.

I'm sure you would fetch a few bucks more here for either or both of those notes than the bank will give you.
