Bank of Canada has released a redesigned Journey $5 note.

We intend to serve as a resource for those interested in learning about and collecting Canadian paper currency issued by the Bank of Canada since it's first issue in 1935. One of the best articles about collecting Bank of Canada Bills is contained on the Canadian Paper Money Society's web site at http://www.cpmsonline.ca/collectingboc.php. It was written by Lub Wojtiw.

We have started adding information about earlier Canadian Paper Money. You'll find sections for the Dominion of Canada notes, Chartered Bank issues, and other Provincial and Municipal Government issues. Since there are thousands of these notes, only the Bank of Canada section is complete. Sorry, but it well take a LONG time come be complete.

There are NO prices here, just samples and descriptions and comments. Pricing changes too much and is clearly in the domain of others. (See Charlton Press and the Dealer Page). If you have a just a few notes and are curious, drop in to the Canadian Paper Money Forum, "What's It Worth" category. We'll see what we can do.
